April- Maryland Wear & Carry Course

Service Description

Maryland State firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanism operations, and basic marksmanship. All students must demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy. Designated security personnel, security guards, private detectives, special police, and armored car drivers/guards must shoot a practical police course of at least 50 rounds, from no further than 25 yards, and score at least 70% accuracy. All measures to provide a safe and secure training environment will be implemented. Pictures of class participants will be taken and used for Ready 6, LLC marketing. Students should have a handgun locked in their case, 50 rounds of ammunition, and a holster. For Maryland Wear and Carry Course students should have 25 rounds. ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARMS AND NO AMMUNITIONS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT. Participating in this TWO-DAYS course does not assure the student of getting a gun permit. The class is a requirement needed to apply for a Maryland State wear and carry permit. (Unless otherwise exempted). As a reminder, this is a 16-hour class, and students must attend both days for completion.
